Taman Sri Nibong RA Log

All things bright and beautiful,

All creatures great and small,

All things wise and wonderful,

The Lord God made them all.

Each little flower that opens,

Each little bird that sings,

He made their glowing colours,

He made their tiny wings.

The purple-headed mountain,

The river running by,

The sunset, and the morning,

That brightens up the sky;

The cold wind in the winter,

The pleasant summer sun,

The ripe fruits in the garden,

He made them every one.

The tall trees in the greenwood,

The meadows where we play,

The rushes by the water,

We gather every day;

He gave us eyes to see them,

And lips that we might tell,

How great is God Almighty,

Who has made all things well.

Some of you may remember  this classic children’s poem and song. We should care for God’s creatures and our environment so that we in turn will live a healthy life, in harmony with nature. The destruction of the forests and the extinction of many animal and plant species has affected the air we breathe, the water we drink and the food we eat. The climate is chaotic and we are suffering from Global Warming. Is it a wonder that we are now paying the price by suffering from more incurable diseases?

Nothing is really safe to eat or drink anymore.

We may not go to Africa or South America, but we can still care for the creatures around us  like those in the SPCA. We can teach our children to be responsible pet owners and encourage our friends to adopt a homeless dog or cat instead of spending hundreds of dollars buying one. They make wonderful and ever grateful pets and you will save a poor animal from being put to sleep due to lack of funds and space. At the end of the day, you will have a most loving and faithful companion for life who will accept you for who you are and love you unconditionally .

All your adopted pet needs is a loving, caring home.
